Most expats have "dreams" (and fears) about the expatriate experience before they move abroad. Take a few minutes to answer a few questions about your pre-move dreams and the realities of life in Hong Kong in our newest report, Dream vs. Reality: http://www.expatexchange.com/expat/index.cfm?pr=rpt&rid=97

Well I speak three languages but they are not Chinese so not being able to communicate with over 75% of the population in Hong Kong is not enjoyable and very limitating. Many times I would like to have a conversation but cant and I cannot understand a word they make because the tones are very unlike the languages I know. I am from USA and in Miami many English only people tend to complain when the hear Spanish being spoken well if they do end up in Hong Kong it will be a lot worse. Chinese food in Hong Kong aint like USA Chinese food!
