I'm hoping someone can advise me on how i can marry a Filipino national living in Hong Kong who is married but separated from her abusive ex 4 yrs ago. She thought that she needs to pay a lawyer for an annulment but now she had a friend tell her that if we marry in Hong Kong then it doesn't matter. I want to get her in the UK with me so she can still work. Her HK work visa runs out in Aug15 so have some time but need to know where we stand.

So my question is this, can i marry her legally in HK without the annulment and her still be able to apply for UK visa as my partner?
