The impending doom!

Greetings all! So you used to think that only the "Doomsday preppers" preached gloom and doom and financial meltdown in the US (then obviously in other places too) and it had no merit? Well think again! Appears that the US Government is following in the footstep of the SeaTac fiasco and raising the national minimum wage to over $10 (USD). But if you think that a $12 Big Mac will be your biggest problem think again. While I'm not an economist it would seem to me that this will lead to inflation (if not hyper inflation) in the US. So those of us overseas on a fixed income will be really screwed. When 1 USD is no longer 225 forints but 115 forints then most of our income will have half of it's former purchasing power. Are U in the position to live on that? I'm not! Of course we would have to wait and see as this thing unfolds. Maybe we are not heading toward a major financial crisis but it sure feels like it!
