Hi my husband and I have decided we wish to uproot from the Uk at the moment we are looking for properties in Hungary. We have seen several that we like in Kaposvar and would love to speak to people living there or nearby. I will apologise in advance but we have a million and one questions. Our main concern is my husband would want to stay in the UK for six months of the year to continue with his business. So if anyone could help us with the tax implications of this that would be great. I run a sucessful furniture upcycling business in the UK and would want to continue with this in Hungary. I would be looking to sell finished goods in Hungary and surrounding areas. Any advice from fellow self-employed folk would be greatly appreciated. Also our son is six and we know it sounds daft but what language is spoken in local schools. Many thanks in advance Tania x

Hello there, unfortunetly I'm not familiar with the town or helping with your proffession. However I can tell you that Hungary's offical language is Hungarian and that is what is also taught in schools.

Unless of course you want your kid to go to an English school but only one(s) I know are in Budapest where the Embassies are!

Can anyone telle of an English Hungarian school,my daighter is American only speaks English.are there any state run Hungarian or private schools for 600,000 huf a year
