Are there any good job search/placement services specific to Hungary?

There are plenty of recruitment and staffing agencies, but all those that I have found are problematic*.

Unfortunately, I exhibit some of the typical American (or maybe typical tech nerd, or typical New Yorker) traits - I'm impatient, a little arrogant, and rather too inclined to answer questions in an honest rather than politic manner.

Add to this my ignorance of the hiring process (I get different answers every time I ask), and I am at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed.

My instinct is to find an expert, someone who understands all of this already, and hire them to help me... or at least explain it to me in terms I can understand.

It seems I am too ignorant even to find an expert, though :)

*All the agencies I have encountered are compensated by employers when they fill a vacancy, which is a pretty clear conflict of interest.
