Hi,

I am an American and my great grandmother & grandfather were born in the Austria Hungarian Empire,

My great grandmother was born in what is today considered Hungary and the great grandfather was born in what is today Slovenia I believe. I have the passenger manifest list of her journey to the US in 1913 stating her village and country as Hungary. I cannot find a birth certificate but I was wondering if this would be enough to prove she was born there..

I was wondering if another American has gone through this process and help me understand what to expect or could recommend an attorney service either here or in Budapest that could help me through this process
