My wife and two boys ages 6 and 8 will be moving to Mumbai in July. Any suggestions as to good international schools in Mumbai? Any details around admission requirements into these schools? Does the start of the school year vary from school to school? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Having just returned from a week in Mumbai and met with both ASB and DSB (German) schools, we have at least two choices. Other international schools (Ambani, etc) pose difficulties in gaining admission. Wondering if there other alternative foreign schools such as the French school and/or Russian school that you would have considered? Did the issue of getting the kids to school in the morning (bus or driver) have a significant bearing on the neighbourhood you chose to live in? We found that Bandra was a good residential neighbourhood and close to ASB while Breach Candy was a busier area but close to the German school and the Breach Candy club. Would be interested in hearing about your experiences.
