Any expats living in Rajasthan or/and Goa?
I am a Canadian Citizen, a female, will be moving to Goa first and then to Rajasthan and would like very much to get in touch with expats in those areas.
Thanks.

Hi, I'm not currently living in Goa or Rajasthan, however, I am considering moving to Goa as one option. May I ask you why you're planning to move to India, why Goa and why then Rajasthan? Are you planning to work there? I'd like to hear more about your process and if you plan to live there for an indefinite time. Do you know much about getting a visa, etc.? Thanks, Ellen

Hello Ellen:
Thank you for your reply.
I have some knowledge of getting Visa to India but not enough.
I have taken early retirement, will not work in any country. I love to live permanently in Rajasthan if it will work out for a woman alone, if not I will try to settle in Goa, and would visit Rajasthan from time to time.
I am not from India and have no relatives who are; India is a very rich country in history and nature-life that I want to spend the rest of my life there. (Also, it fits my budget....)

Hi there,
I'm probably a few months too late but I'll be moving to Rajasthan in early November for 18 months of anthropological fieldwork. Get in touch if you're still about! Best, David
