Bombay vs. Dubai

Hello

I am about to decide my new posting at the company I work for. The options are Bombay and Dubai. I have been to both, but only for brief visits, and thus I have a very difficult time to decide. If any of you know these places better than me, do you think you could list some pros and cons to help me make my mind up?
I'm in my mid 20s, no familial obligations or anything binding, hence fully flexible.

Thanks for the help!

Hello Peterny1,

Hum, very difficult choice. The good news is that you can do both! Some peoples say that Bombay is the next Dubai &. but personally I disagree. They are too different!
This depend I guess on your profession and the possibilities. You have to evaluate the careers in terms of net result (salaries and advantages vs costs of living). Dubai is much more expensive the Bombay.

Also, as a single guy in his mid 20s, you might find it difficult to date in Dubai due to the Islamic culture. Personally, I think that might be one of the reasons my company did not propose to me Dubai but Bombay. Dont know how many women would work there & especially single one. Culture wise, both countries are worth discovering.

Take care,
