I'm thinking of moving to india...Been reading the net...just need to know first hand from those of you who have moved what's it like?

Everyone is different, of course. For example, since I don't do well in the heat, we are in a cool hill station. Now that I'm comfortable and not living in a big city, I find life wonderful here - slower than the U.S. where I'm from and simpler. Nothing happens quickly or efficiently here, so you have to relax. Corruption is something I wan't used to. Here it is part of life. The people in general are generous and kind. I love it here.
