Activities for children in Pune, India

I will be in Pune, India for a few weeks in 2014 for work and I would like to bring the whole family so that we can spend a week traveling the country after I finish my work assignment. The question is what can the kids do in Pune while I'm at work? I imagine that most schools may not be willing to take the kids for such a short period so I'm really looking for activities such as children's museums, playgrounds, etc. Things that my husband and children can do together and not be stuck in the hotel.
