I am moving with my fiancé in Mumbai and I am looking for a permanent job.
Can someone help?
I have 15 years experience in senior management in supply chain.
Thank you

Create a profile on naukri.com or monster India. It should be a good starting point. I also think it would be a great idea to look for jobs in BPOs that support supply chain based companies.

You see, India is the world's backoffice. A lot of companies like Genpact Aviation, Tesco, HP etc have their supply chain back office work done out of Mumbai Bangalore etc. Search the above websites to find the target companies. Also send emails to consultants that deal with such jobs.

The keywords would be Business Process Offshoring/Outsourcing, Call Centers.

I am not saying you shouldn't look for a core supply chain job but it would be easier to land this job.

Quick tip - If you are from UK, for instance, look for a job in a UK based company. Like Tesco for instance. Or if you are American, look for something in GE. Makes sense?

Hello Valerie, Good luck with, 15 years in senior management should speak get a couple of doors open to you... ak916 is right... registering your CV in these sites is very good... there are other sites where you cabn look directly like mitula, round one or times jobs, check them out and break a leg.

Besides Naukri, try Shine, Times Jobs or Mitula, very good choice, there is a bit of a recession in India (where isn´t there one?)... and it obviously makes it tough to find a decent job but nevertheless with your background and qualificiations you should be able to land somewhere good for you. By the way which country are you from? perhaps there are companies from your country of origin in Mumbai or otherwise in Pune or Bangalore where you could register your profile. Good luck!

Hi Valerie,

I am in the same boat, looking for a permanent supply chain job in Mumbai. I have 5.5 years experience. I've been using Naukri, iimjobs, and Timejobs in my search but so far have not had much luck. I've also tried applying to American based companies (like Amazon) but that hasn't worked either. Please let me know how your job search goes. Hoping we can both find something in the next few months.
