Moving to Vadodara, Any expats in Gujarat?

Hello,

I am moving from New york to Vadodara in 15 days and wanted to get in touch with a few fellow expats. Also, gujarat being dry state how are you guys getting by without alcohol?

Yes actually I moved here 5 days ago though from Neighbouring country, married to an Indian and trying to find and explore this place .

U can buy alchohal with a foreign passport. Though do hit the Mumbai duty free on exit.hope that helps

Hi. We live in Gujarat, but different city- Jamnagar (quite far from Vadodara)... and expats here get special alcohol permision through the company, so having that paper, they are allowed to get some bottles per month in special places... so i guess in Vadodara you just need to know the places...
