" Hello. I''m an Indonesian married to a Swede. We don''t live in Indonesia at the moment, but my husband would love to experience living and working in Indonesia (preferrably Jakarta) for at least a year or two. It would, of course, be perfect for me. But I am also reluctant to just move unless he gets a job there first, for the immigration law doesn''t entitle him to get a resident permit even though he is married to an Indonesian citizen. The problem is, his education background and work experience is in Political Science (Latin American Studies), which makes it hard for him to get hired by multinational companies in Jkt. I also heard that an easier way to get a work permit is to teach his native tongue, but I''m not sure there is a language school that teaches Swedish in Jkt. Can anybody give advice on what kind a jobs he can do with that background and where to look? Thanks so much. "
