What is life like in Denpasar Are the costs of living as high as in Jakarta ? Is there any entertainment around if you do not want to go to Cuta and avoid the tourists ? Thanks for your reply in advance

Denpasar is the middle of all the businesses. Shopping, dining but activities? Not so much. But if you consider going to a park "activity", there are parks and they often have activities going on - Balinese dance exhibitions, plant shows/sales/ etc.The rent is cheaper than Jakarta (my opinion). You can find houses and apartments. What else do you want to know?
