We encourage you take a minute to post a reply to this thread with details about Thanksgiving events and gatherings for expats in your area. Or, if you know of restaurants that serve Thanksgiving dinner, please post them! This information will be particularly helpful for those expats who are spending their first Thanksgivings abroad!

If you make Thanksgiving dinner at home and have advice for others about where to find hard-to-find ingredients in your town or city, please share that as well!

Making Thanksgiving meal for neighbors Thursday evening. Found fresh cranberries & sweet potatoes at English Market and had to special order large turkey from butcher. No cream corn so making my own for baked corn recipe & haven't found any bags of stuffing but will use dried bread and some fine bread crumbs. Of course no can pumpkin, but going to make the real thing. Will be a creative Thanksgiving. One resturant in Kinsale(Dee's-maybe) advertised Thanksgiving their way on Friday. Hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving holiday!
