Moving to Ireland with some health issues

Wife and I are thinking about retiring to Ireland we both have good work pensions and I just turned 65 and have that fab uk state pension. My wife is 59. Our weekly income euros at current exchange rate would be around 1,400. Our current property is. Worth around £300000 and we have assists around £100000. Thus we would not need to cind employment ut are both keen on doing voluntary work. II used to travel across Ireland on a regular basis and like the area around Enisgorthy. I have looked property on Daftie. And can't believe how much cheaper houses Are. I believe the cost of living is a bit higher than here in Scotland although living in a rural part of the borders we do spend a fair amount on fuel for running our land rover. Need it for the terrain around our house. I assume our income is enough for a good standard of life in Ireland, buy a decent house and do some travelling. Alas I have a health issue which renders me very tired and a lack of energy a lot of the-time. I also take two different types of medication on a daily basis. Thus have some concerns about costs and the costs of visiting a local GP regularly. Any advice re the area I have indicated, medical costs, what would be available on the Irish NHS. Thanks in advance
