"Pay by Weight" Waste Disposal

Any expats in Ireland faced with the new 'pay by weight' regime for your trash bins? I suspect this issue might be 2016's water charge debacle. Right now, we're paying €345 for 26 pickups a year of two 110 Kilo containers, one recycling and one regular trash...which works out to six cents a kilo.... but effective next month, we'll be charged by the weight of our trash bins, plus a service charge. Now, the recycling bin is free, but the cost for regular garbage will be a MINIMUM of 22 cents per kilo, set by the local waste hauler... and I suspect that anyone with a normal-sized family is going to find their expense for trash disposal going sky high. Anyone heard from their waste hauler what they intend to charge?

Where we are renting currently we do not have to worry about 'pay by weight' but in previous accommodation we used to just take our waste to the local waste plant at Clonakilty and it was not expensive.
