Maybe someone can help me on this.

I am Portuguese resident currently working as a contractor for an Irish company in Dublin, but I often have to travel and/or work remotely from Portugal.

Every time I come to Dublin I have to rent a car which can become quite expensive.

Was thinking on buying a car but I am not sure if I can do so being a non Irish resident.

I can buy in my personal name or in my company name (Gibraltar company).

Do you guys know if this is possible?

Let me just add that I have a fixed address here in Dublin in a friends apartment.
