Hi, I came to Israel because of my Israelis boyfriend and started ulpan one month ago so don't understand very much:)
I would like to find part time job as a manual worker, cleaner .. :) basically anything without hebrew...
but I don't have work visa, my boyfriend told me that I have to find a job first and then I can ask for work visa.. Could anybody tell me if it really works this way? And if companies as Manpower would accept me without work visa?
I checked some English written websites but there are only jobs for people with university degree or mother level of English.
I would really appreciate any advices :)

Thanks

According to the law, you absolutely need a work visa (B1) to work in Israel.

To apply for such Visa, you have to:
1) Go to the Misrad Hapnim of your city and fill in a specific form for B1 application.
2) Take an appointment for providing all required information (Birth Certificate, Bank accounts, recommendation letters, etc.)
3) Take a second appointment for an interview with administrative clerc

Your boyfriend will have to be present everytime with you during the administrative formalities.
The process to obtain a B1 can take 3 to 5 months.
