Hello All,

Is there anyone out there who can do or refer me to someone who can help me with my Italian citizenship paperwork? I have started to gather some documents and have tried contacting a couple of people who specialized in doing this but both their websites are now defunct as are their E-mail addresses. Any help would be appreciated
.
Grazie di tutto!

Interesting; that is the first one I tried, had a phone appointment set up (date and time) and they never kept the appointment.

I would suggest looking on the Italian Consulate's website. In addition to information about which documents you need, they should have a list of professionals who can help you with various aspects of the process. I found a host of information when I was going through the process, but admit it can be confusing. If you're trying to contact the consulate in your area for information, but they don't respond to your calls or email, consider trying a Consulate in another state, but keep in mind the process can be somewhat different. Still, they may be able to help with more general questions. I did my paperwork in New York, but found it near impossible to speak with anyone until my actual appointment. Philadelphia (and even California, which was referred to me by another office!) were much helpful.

I hope that helps.

The Italian Consulate in Phoenix gave me the name of a great lawyer (who has done much for very little dollars) right now. We are getting very close to getting my husbands dual citizenship.

Her name is on our blog: www.ouritalianjourney.blogspot.com

It is under "Italy 411" and we highly recommend her! I don't have her info on hand but that is why we posted it on the website - to help others with correct information.
