Good place to hang out & meet other expats?

My boyfriend just moved to Abidjan for work, and I'll be joining him in a week. I'll be looking for places to meet other expats. So I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on where to go / activities to get involved in? We've both lived in several African countries before, and enjoy nights out & various outdoors activities.

hi Hilde, i too have just arrived in Abidjan and am looking to meet some English speaking people and join some clubs. I have found a good gym, a tennis club and have found the group called the Hash House Harriers.......they are fun. I would love to meet you and maybe we can find what else is out there.....please keep in touch
