just arrived - vets in Abdijan??

Hey

I just arrived last week in Abidjan. I`m a 29 years old vet from Germany. My boyfriend is working in Abidjan, this is the main reason I came here.
Now I wonder if somebody knows about veterinary clinics/practice in Abidjan.
That would be very helpful as besides studying French I would love to work in my job at least part time...
Is there any regular expat meeting somewhere btw? or has anybody ever attended the hash?

Welcome to Abidjan!
There are some regular expat meetings, one is hash which i never attended.... Every time I want to they always chose the location which is difficuly to get to. There is a French version of Hash, thats for French speaking and it happens on Saturday of each month. Those who attended say its more fun since there are more people. And the other one is the Wednesday morning tea which Silviya has mentioned in other posts about.
As for the vet nursing job... I could only speak about the regular nursing job which you would find in some hospitals and would be paid something line 400.000 cfa a month. This is the info i got from one of my friends.
