I need some urgent advice please. I have a job offer from the Export Import Bank of Korea Cote DIvoire in Abidjan. They asked me to place a deposit of 10000 usd as per the new expatriates act 207/13 before taking up employment.in Abidjan. Can someone please confirm if this requirement is genuine? Please hurry as I have to send the funds soon

This a scam. I am from the Ivory Coast, and I can tell you that there is no such act in Ivory Coast Legislation. This is simply a 419 Scam! Be aware of Scamers ! yep it is a scam. probably some dude from ome of those english speaking country living in Ivory Coast. there is no such thing as deposit before you get a job.. this is a huggggggggge scam. plain and simple

This is true i am an Indian and was employed in EcoBank this January, i deposited the sum of 20,0000$ and not 10,000$. If you are been asked by your bank to deposit 10,000$ then that is true. It is better you confirm from the right source instead of people.

This new Act is true and not false. I love it because now if you are a foreigner whom is not well to do and not financially ok you can't work as an expatriates in Cote d'Ivoire. Before many foreigners especially the Lebanese have been abusing the rights of the local Ivorians even when they are less respected in their home Countries. Many thanks to President alassane ouattara and his goods advisers
Cette nouvelle loi est vrai et faux pas. Je l'aime parce que maintenant si vous êtes un étranger qui n'est pas bien faire et ne pas financièrement ok tu ne peux pas travailler comme une des expatriés en Côte d'Ivoire. Avant de nombreux étrangers en particulier les Libanais ont abusé des droits des Ivoiriens locaux, même s'ils sont moins respectés dans leur pays d'origine.
