Hello, I am also new and do not speak French. I found the best way to make friends is by joining a gym. The people in Abidjan are very nice and you will soon make friends. Wish you all the best.

Hi there i am Egyptian and will be moving to abidjan after a month , i can't talk french too and would like to have friends to hang out with , my husband is working in Abidjan . I have 2 daughters 9&10years old . I don't know i will communicate without talking french in a french talking country .
I hope we can be friends.

Hi Lilliananyacho... my wife and I are moving here around May of 2015. I have been sent to check out the place, and will be staying here for another 2 weeks or so.
We have a newborn baby who is a month old right now, so it would be really good if I could get someone to help me with the hospital, house renting, entertainment, etc.
Hope you and Raniel have caught up, and hope that you are still looking at this topic... help!!!

I am coming in Abidjan from the UK. Will get there by the 16th february.
I will be coming for couple of weeks and i go there once every year at least.
