I've been recently offer a job at a company in Jamaica (Montego Bay - Freeport). I'm seriously thinking about taking the opportunity and moving there. If I do move I will be coming with my 2 year old son - Does anyone have any info on some good private daycare centers/preschools. I will be staying at Mira Bay (at least initailly) if I make the move there.
Thanks S.

I presently live in Mo-Bay. Here is a local preschool/day care provider that you may consider contacting. Tender Heart Proffessional Child Day Care 101 Albion Rd, mo-bay 876-971-2824
Generally schooling begins at the age of 3. I live on the other side of Mo-bay so I am more familiar with this side, also my children are older at 6 and 11. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi, I presently live in Rose Hall, the other side of Mo-bay... Here is a listing for one daycare/preschool available. Tender Heart Professional Child Day Care & Pre School 101 Albion Road, mo-bay (876) 971-2824 As my children are older I am not familar with the younger schooling but I have heard various good comments regarding this school, of course this is heresay and your investigation is suggested. Remember Jamiaca is a third world country. The education system does start at 4 here and your oppertunities will be far greater at that age. The educational system at this point is wonderful and intense. T

Sorry to jump in, but I am in a similar situation. A new job may bring me to Rose Hall. I have 2 girls - 5 and 7. What are the educational facilities like- we would be happy to go with a private non-denominational school if there is one in the area? Any web-sites you would recommend?
Many thanks
-Michael
