Hi Sicilia

Sorry for not replying sooner, been busy finishing work and getting things ready for my move. I will be starting my course with Virgin Atlantic airways next week, for two weeks, before flying out in November. I will be based in Clarendon, where will you be staying and when are you going out there? There are a couple of websites I found - caribbean jobs, jobs in the sun and caribcareer.

I am definately interested in finding a good spa, so once you've located a good one please let me know.

Bev

Hi, im too moving to jamaica within the next few months. Ideally i would like to do social work as i do in england but am willing to do most things at first till i can get some contacts, especially any kind of admin work. i would be grateful for any help or can offer any help getting contacts. ill be settling in the westmoreland area, specifically sav-la-marr. just knowing other brits are as crazy for doing this as me is ahelp anyway, so any contact would be good! so far ive posted my resume on www.lmis-ele.org.jm so will see if that brings any results. my immeidate concern is getting somewhere cheap to rent. any luck yourself?

Hil there,

I too am moving in two years. What about you furniture and other material things? Should you bring them? Is it more costly? Thank you for any and all information you may have.

Hi Sue. Saw your responses to others on the forum and wanted to join in. Met someone in negril, have been back for a visit twice and considering a longer stay. Have a place to live, but wonder what is required for an american to work in negril. Im an RN, but basically looking for any kind of parttime work. Any special permits needed, etc? Thanks for any insight you have and would just love to correspond. Lisa828
