Planning a move to Montego Bay is very exciting however i find myself with many questions to be answered. I'd greatly appreciate all and any information regarding the Montego Bay area from anyone who lives there or has lived there. How safe is the area? How is the cost of living? Anything i should prepare myself for that isnt necessarily something i'll be able to research before hand? How do the locals treat Americans? Hope to hear your reply!

It was so good to hear that another American will be moving to JA soon. I plan to move within the next 6-8 mos. I'm married and have a 10 yr. old daughter.
