I am on the finishing touches for moving to Jamaica and I could use some local knowledge. I am looking to find out more about Montego bay area and places to live, markets in the area and how you like living there.

Hi,
I've just moved to the Montego Bay area last summer and so far so good. I am Jamaican but spend all my life in the states. My parents are retired now and moved back to Jamaica about 6years ago. In mobay I live in Brandon Hill which is steps away for downtown. Its a quiet area and close to everything. Right now Apartments are being rented where I live. The apartments are like what you would expect in the states. You can fit a King size bed and other stuff in the rooms. Roomy... 2bdrms are available.
