I have been a frequent visitor to Jamaica and plan to move from the US to Jamaica in 3 years. I will probably buy property before then, in Negril or St. Ann's, and hoping to obtain employment in Jamaica after I move. I can't seem to find any sites with posts from American expats living in Jamaica. Can anyone provide me with advice and resources? It has been my dream to live in Jamaica since I first stepped on this beautiful island with the most wonderful people over 25 years ago. Any help is truly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,
I moved here to JA from Washington DC 20 months ago, and may be able to give you some useful information.
I live in Kingston, but check Valerie Levy & Assoc. as realtor's. Not sure of your work status, but if you or your husband are not JA. then you will need work permits.
You may contact me dalepkingston@expatwomen.com for more information if needed.
