Move And lost marriage certificate

I will be travelling to Jamaiica soon..looking into moving..

I'm also looking forward to seeing some buildings my Aunt and Uncle had built there..One of which is named after my late Father. Also I have been trying for the longest ( you would not believe How long! ) to get a copy of my marriage certificate.. I was told the original info was lost in a fire.. I am unable to locate the officiant,, I Need to get this document so I can move on. Any advice on who to speak to about this while I am there would be Much appreciated..

If you were married in Jamaica, try contacting www.jis.gov.jm/security/index.asp

This website will allow you to request a copy of the marriage certificate online.

Hello ladies,

Good luck with your search for the marriage certificate. You can check with the Register General office on Spanish Town Road in Spanish Town, so call them for particulars.

You will most likely have to go in, but maybe not.
