Would like to hear from you if you are. I will be moving there within the next couple of months and would like to network, make friends, going out, etc. I'm married and have two children. If interested please drop me a line. Also need help with finding good schools for my son who is 16 and girl who is 14. If anyone has children of these ages let me know so the kids can meet up.
Peace and much love

I am looking to move to Montego Bay soon. I do not have any kids that are coming with me. I would like to know how did you go about getting a job(if you have one already) and what did you do about getting a work permit and how long did it take?

I haven't actually got a job as yet, still researching all options available. My husband and parents are Jamaican so hopefully becoming a Jamaican National won't be too hard. We must keep in touch, maybe I can inform you of any progress regarding work. Let me know?

Hi, i have just been head hunted for a job in Jamiaca which i think i may accept. I will also be based in Kingston and i too have a 15 year, a daughter. Have you moved yet? What has it been like and have you any tips. I have been advised that i can get my papars sorted based on my mum being citizen of the country although she lives in the UK.

Hi
I too am considering moving to JA in the very, very near future, and going over end of November for research purposes if anyone knows of any job opportunities or just how to go about networking that would be great. It is quite difficult getting the relevant information in the UK but I find having a JA hard copy of the yellow pages useful for possible future contacts. Any other thoughts would be most welcome

It would be great to find out if there are any networking groups out there in the London area who discuss or would like to discuss ideas. Let me know it would be great to share ideas, experiences etc.

Hi Rayjay, I haven't moved yet but will be in the not to distance future. Are you in London, perhaps we can exchange email addresses, let me know? Jobs are hard to come by in Jamaica as rightly Jamaicans come first. But it is not impossible.
