Hello everyone, I've read posts and it seems the folks here are quite helpful. I live here in Kingston now with my husband for about a year 1/2. I have no family (other than the hubby's) here and making friends of my own has been a challenge. I am open to what folks here may suggest as a solution. Thanks in advance!

I have been going back and forth from the states to Jamaica for 2.5 years now, and only recently made an associate that was a native Jamaican that has never been out of the country. I have met many women who are American or Jamaicans who live abroad and we keep in touch. So I asked an older gentleman while I was on my last trip about it, and he said I have to get with a family member and go around with her and let her make introductions so that other Jamaican women will fill more comfortable.
Hope this helps

Still living in the US reading the Gleaner every day, listening to Power 106FM for every news and waiting to relocate.
