I would love to move back to Jamaica as soon as possible, the only issue is that I am unable to find a job, I have a Bachelor Criminal Justice, a Masters in Education and working on my PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (ABD). I am not keen on living in the city, I love the country parts. I have been working in the Educational Recruitment field for the past 12 years, however i am willing to work in other fields especially where children are concerned. If anyone have an offer or know of anything please contact me at. veronicamckay@bellsouth.net. Thanks

I would suggest visiting the island and contacting the HR department of companies individually. You might also want to check the classified sections of the Gleaner or the Observer. Jobs are not the easiest to get here. I have a friend in HR, I could ask around for you too.

CourtneyM, Thanks for your reply I am Jamaican, US citizen. I did not work much when I lived in Jamaica. I do visit fairly often, but most of the people I knew have migrated since I left so contacts are few. I am at retirement age, but I still have to work. Most of my recent background is in the administration side of Education and inside Training. I am not really particular about job title, as long as I earn. I went ahead and registered with "learn4good I hope the results will be positive. Thanks again for the info.

Thank you for your suggestions. Next time I go I will definitely do that. As for the News Papers, I have been following the Gleaner for years with no luck. I would really appreciate it if you can ask your friend, I am sure that would help. Thanks again.
