Can moving to Ja,tax questions(retired)

Hello,My wife and I are retired have purchased land and have started to build.We are both Canadian and do not wish to work in Ja,are there any Canadians here that have made the move and could share their experiences with the "exit tax",can I keep my Canadian bank accounts,visa/mastercard,I realize I need a Ja bank account too.Also any other bits of info on how your finances work now would be great.Thanks John.
