Hi guys,

A while ago my son got married to his Japanese girlfriend, both having lived together in Australia for years.

The wedding was held in Japan, presumably to honour her family.

I advised him that I was unable to attend the wedding but later I commented to him that I never received an Invitation.

He replied that because only some direct relatives (from Australia) would attend, there were no invitation cards printed.

I find that a bit hard to believe, and would be the first Asian wedding I heard of without invitation cards.

Anyone would like to comment?
