I married a Jordanian man here in the US and my first fear was that he wanted only to stay in the US. I have to tell you I have been extremely happy with him for these past two years. He is honest and moral and smart. Not all men are created equally. I would be sure that he is interested in you because of you and not because you are American. Jordanians are nice people but like everywhere else there are some bad people there too.
