Hope you can help me. I arrived in amman nearly 4 months ago with my husband and children. I have searched for hours on the internet but have not been able to meet any muslimahs. I really want to learn arabic and more about islam and want to meet muslim sisters. I regularly go to my local masjid but it is a very closed community and i only speak english so have found it difficult to talk to them. i live in marj al hamam, do you know of sisters who i can meet up with please?

I am not familiar with any specific religious communities, English speaking or otherwise, however, I do know of some international ladies groups that might be of interest to you.
I've noticed that you are from the UK - there is a British Ladies Club here, as well as an American Women Club that accepts members from many countries.
Would you be interested in something like that?
