I am a British/English citezen and am considering retirement to Jordan in a few years and will have enough pension to make me self sufficient. I do have Jordanian friends and aquaintencies in Jordan but would like to know if it is possible to emigrate there on a permanent basis. I will not of course be looking for employment nor will housing be a problem. Can anybody advise how to make arrangements for a permanent right to live in Jordan.

Hi uklightman,

I would recommend that you visit the Jordanian embassy or consulate near you and ask about residency in Jordan.
