salam, i'm new here and also new in amman ...
i'm a muslimah coming from france and i'm looking for female friends in amman ...
i noticed that here nobody speaks french or understand it ...so sad !
my good point is that i have quite good english
so if you are lost in amman as i am so feel free to send me a mail and let's have a cup of tea together !!

you can find many who tolks french , it's second language after English .
try visit Jabal Al-lobidah , there is Paris circle
and many freanch culutre going there
and u can contact with French culutre center

The second place is the French Cultural Centre. From what I've heard, they are the best. The website is in French, but they do have classes with English speaking instructors teaching Arabic: http://www.lecentre-jo.org/cours/cours.html

but i had a look at the website and it seems like it's more for NON french speakers to learn languages than a real place for french expat to meet ??
anyone already went there ?

Hi Zeina,
I have a friend in Amman who is also a Muslimah. She is desperately looking for a place to stay. I told her I would help her in any way possible. By any chance would you have a place for her to stay? She speaks perfect English and some French. Since you are looking for a friend, I think it may work out. She also does not mind paying for a portion of rent. She is a great Muslimah also.
