Hello!
I've just arrved to Jordan and have alway had maids in the previous countries I have workedin. Does anyone know any contact information for maid services in Amman? And also any other information that is important when hiring a maid in Jordan?

Plenty of maid service available in Amman , mostly foreign labor from the far east and central Asia. Are you looking for a short term or a long term live in Maid?

Hello i am from Australia and I plan to come to Jordan end of July I have been looking for ways to find of some work there. I am looking for Nanny of Mothers Help but I would do Maid work if I am able to work there. If you find any more information on this type of work available could you please let me know. Thank you very much aljarrar! I will be looking for a long term maid as i will only be in the country for a year and a half longer. The issue of ethnicity is not an issue as is seems in many places in the middle east, maids seem to be of the Philippine or Sri Lankan ethnicity. However, the one glitch is that i would prefer not to have a live-in maid, are they still possible to come by in Jordan?

I believe , that most Maid service agencies have that option , have you contacted any ? I cannot recommend a name as I have never had a live in maid in my house nor subscribe to that school of thought . However we ended up having one for a month when my wife gave birth to my first son years ago . I can ask around maybe one of my family members can recommend one for you!

Thank again aljarrar! I have not been able to contact any of the maid agencied due to the fact that i do not know any people here as of yet to be able to ask. As well, my internet search proved to be futile. If you do have the contact information of one it would be much appreciated. Thank you so much aljarrar for your help!
