Hi, i just joined this forum,i am hoping it will be helpful to me.I am considering taking a job and moving to amman with my 2toddler girls(1yr and 3yrs)My monthly salary is about $1500.Does anyone have any idea on nanny services and their monthly salary and how sincere, caring and reliable the nannies can be?i will be needing one as i will be flying out of jordan alot. Also, any ideas on good english speaking day care/nursery?What is accomodation like in amman, like a 3bedroom?is it advisable to rent a furnished or unfurnished house? Do u think a monthly salary of $1500 i will be able to sustain my family and still save? I will appreciate feed backs pls.

I am curious where you are relocating from? I live in the US and my husband's family lives in Zarqa, Jordan. I do know some lovely young ladies but one problem I see is that most young ladies are not allowed to sleep outside of the family home at night! What company are you going to be working for? I am just curious as I would so be willing to relocate to Jordan if I knew there was a job! My husband is Jordanian so I have no problem getting citizenship to work. Apartments vary and I have stayed in some nice ones but depends on the location and the price you are willing to pay? Will you be relocating alone or are you married? Have you been to Jordan before? Please write me back I am interested in hearing about your relocation! I will help however I can!
