Hi,
I am moving to Jordan with my husband and 2 children in Aug to start a teaching job. My husband is Palestinian (now holds Irish passport) and has worked in the uk for the last 13 years in an airport admin job but does not hold a degree. He speaks fluent english and arabic. I have 2 questions that I would be grateful if somebody kind could answer. Firstly would 2300 jd be enough for us to live on without him working?Would we be able to save a little if we live a fairly frugal lifestlyle? Our accom is free, utilites subsidised and kids education is free. Secondly, what are the chances of my husband finding work? we have lived and worked in Kuwait before and absolutely love the arabic culture and way of life but I just want to be sure that this is a viable opportunity with a family. Many thanks in advance.
