Hi We moved to Amman recently, and renting a furnished apartment. There are Satellite dishes installed (Nilesat and Hotbird), but there are very few English channels Anyone knows where I can get more English channels?
Thanks Dd

Hi, I live in Argentina. Though we have Direct TV, I still miss a lot of my favorite shows. I found TV Bandit which is a legal website that has some sort of contracts with USTV, Comcast, and others. You can set up an account for free and get the basic channels. But for $29 for 3 months and then $44 a month, you get several channels and the ability to DVR. For the most part I LOVE, LOVE this service and it works well about 95% of the time. You can pay a lot more and get 200 channels, but I'm content with the cheaper service. Let me know if it works for you. Also if I have an issue they contact me very quickly by email. I do know they are used by the military some. My payment is deducted every month from somewhere in New York. Good luck! Cathy Hill

Sometimes there website is down and something doesn't record...but they are quick to reply to issues and also will credit your bill if it happens several times! I get all the major news outlets, Bravo, PBS, Animal Planet, Lifetime, ABC, CbS, FOX and several more channels. Hope it works for you!

I have NileSat & Hotbird and they have plently of English channels. Whenever you find an Italian or Polish channel, you can simply press the AUDIO button on the remote and change it into English. We do have it cracked so for about 12JD a year we can access all paid channels.
