power supply, Amman

Hi there! I'm working on a film and we may film for a couple weeks in Amman. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how reliable electricity generally is in the downtown area where most of the international hotels are. Does the power fail at all (and if so how often?, and generally for how long?) This will help determine if we need to hire a generator for some of our more sensitive equipment...

It would be a bonus if you could connect me with someone who had a plot of line voltage vs time for the last few months, but I understand that may be hard to come by! Thanks for any info you can provide.

We have been in Amman for 4 months now and never had a single power cut. We're in Abound area but I doubt Down Town is any different.
