My name is Jay i am a Kenyan living abroad i am sorry that you wife was refused entry into the UK , you have to be realistic what you want to do is really big and it will change your life you are moving to a new country with different cultures don't excpect too much.

With 4million it will depend on what kind of business you want to start up you have to know that life is not cheap in Kenya especially Nairobi and you have also mentioned building a house , i thinking building a house will really cost you alot of money and with building a house you really have to have a good contractor otherwise you will be conned. There are people who take advantage of foreingers beacuse you don't know and by the time you realise it there are nowhere to be found. It also happens to Kenyans. So if you are planning to build a house and starting up a business get advise on both a good contractor and business agent.

My advise to you just be vey carefull in your decision.
