Hi everyone, just new to the forum and would appreciate any advice.

I'm getting married this year to a Kenyan citizen and I'm considering moving to Kenya to live.

I have funds tied up in property in the UK at present, but I'm willing to release some, around £150,000, to either a) invest in a small business or b) invest to derive an income from.

Can anyone tell me if this amount would be considered enough by the Kenyan immigration to be considered for an Entry Permit?

Hi Huch10,

I am married to a kenyan and resident in Kenya on a KDP (Kenya dependant Pass) which is renewable every two years, so why dont you go that way initially then once you have settled here you can decide on the way forward. Just a suggestion...
And by the way am in the process of setting up a firm to assist returning kenyans and expats settle and offer house search, school search, domestic workers search, etc...so if you need help in the above let me know.

just looking for an indian school in nairobi and saw that you are inthe process of setting up an agebncy to help the expats. can you help me in this. iam at tanzania right now, but would be shifting to nairobi in march 2008.
