furnised apartments in Nairobi

hi,
I am possibly moving to Nairobi in June 2008 and was wondering what the best/safe neighborhood would be as my office is in Kilimani. I would prefer an 2 bedroom 2bath apartment. What would the approx. monthly rent be? Also what does fully furnised mean in the nairobi context?

Hi Magpie. If your office is in Kilimani. It will be advisable to live in Kilimani since traffic in nairobi sometimes can be a nightmare. The rent for a two bedroom furnished room apartment is btn 60,000 -80,000 kshs. The fully furnished includes lounge,dining room, bathrooms,parking space, double beds with lining and covers, fully furnished kitchen, 24/7 security . Some apts you will need to pay for your utilities bills i.e. water and electrcity and internet.
