Hi, Im looking to move to Kenya later this year, in July for 2 weeks on holiday, then hopefully for good in November. Can anyone advise any properties available, both for rental in july for 2 weeks and then in november? Im just looking for a 2 bedroom place. Is there any websites I can visit? I will be working from home so I need access to the internet. I would be grateful if anyone could help me. Thanks

try www.propertykenya.com for listings. also try the realtors www.neptuneshelters.com. I haven't used either, but have been looking also and found this a decent site. good luck!

If you need something furnished, your budget is key. If you can afford 100000KES or higher, then all of the better hotels have furnished apartments to consider... If that's too pricey, then Rhapta Rd. in Westlands has loads of furnished, serviced apartments to check out. If your budget is more like 50000KES/month, that's going to be tough as rents have gone up. Best to look for the roommate wanted at Yaya Center or Sarit Center. I've been hunting for a 3-bedroom unfurnished apartment for 2 months and am just now finalizing the lease which takes ages. I'm paying 70000KES/month. Nairobi just isn't cheap anymore! Feel free to email me if you need anymore advice. rebeccaechandler@gmail.com
