Hello,
I am a 22 year old American looking for a short-term renting situation (from September to November) in the Kilimani area of Nairobi. I am clean, neat, friendly, and doing a fellowship with a micro-finance insitution. The apartment must be within close distance to Ngong road with access to transportation, and ideally near Yaya, Prestige, or Junction Mall.
I am looking for a furnished room (bed, desk, drawers, etc.) in a shared apartment with other expats. No children, please.
Ideally, it would be great to have roommates around the same age. I will be available to move in by September 9th.
If you are also looking to rent out two rooms, I have a 25 year old American friend who would be interested in moving in as well.

Hi, I do have a room in a two bedroom fully furnished apartment along ngong road. The apartment is a walking distance to nakumatt junction and adams arcade.
The other roomate is 30 years old male working in a corporate organisation.
The rent is Kshs 30,000 this includes water,laundry, electricity and 24/7 security. Though you will buy own washing detergent.

Two furnished and self contained rooms in a vey nice compund walking distance from YaYa and Nakumat Prestige at a very competitive rate and without children.

I am a volunteer for a couple of NGO organizations, and am in the process of trying to start my own. I am looking for something EXTREMELY cost efficient. I am used to the slum areas, but must be semi-safe and have water! Right now I stay in Rongai, because the price is right, but the travel is outrageous (about 1.5-2hrs to and from the city) and the cost adds up as well. Thanks for any info you might have!
